In AP Literature this week we mainly just worked on our pecha kucha presentations and getting them to a point where we would be able to could be able to show and speak on them confidently, this would be the first time we have ever had to give a freelance presentation where we went in with minimal preparation and a lot more of what we focused on is the elimination of rambling and being able to focus more clearly on what the main idea of each slide is, not having words on the slides to aid your process of thinking. Also being on a timer we must now also utilize a sense of time into your presentation style. Being able to get a feel for how long you have to get your point across making sure you do not ramble and extend past the allotted time. While I may not necessarily think pecha kucha is something that I agree with I will do my best to still follow the format, I think limiting and idea/argument is absolutely not ideal as it weakens the point or argument you are trying to make by ten fold. My idea is still a bit cloudy to me as the main focus point that I initially had decided on was thrown out the window after completing my first book and beginning the second one I felt that speaking on free will within the novels was something that resonated more heavily with me, making it easier for me to formulate thoughts and ideas on it.
Well Structured Pecha Kucha Example
